Biography

Alon Lagstein is an associate in Liner’s Real Estate & Land Use Group. He works with a wide range of clients, including private equity firms, financial institutions and project sponsors on financing and acquisitions. He has represented clients in the renewable energy, healthcare, entertainment, and media industries. Alon concentrates on a broad range of commercial and residential real estate related matters, including acquisition and disposition, development, leasing, financing, construction and joint ventures. He currently represents one of the biggest institutional landlords in the country in connection with office leasing.

Alon received his J.D. from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law where he served as co-chief articles editor of the Pacific Basin Law Journal and as a volunteer for the California Innocence Project.

  • Represented a publicly traded company in its role as the borrower and developer in connection with a $60 million loan for the construction of a 50-MW solar generation facility.
  • Represented a publicly traded company in the acquisition of a portfolio of solar generation facilities in Brazil.
  • Advised a private equity client in its role as the lender on a $20 million loan secured by a series of solar generation facilities.
  • Represented a private equity client in its role as the purchaser of an interest in a portfolio of geothermal energy projects.
