Biography

Jeffrey R. McDonald is an associate in Liner’s Real Estate & Land Use Group.  Jeff has a diverse real estate practice, representing businesses, lenders, and public agencies in the development, finance, acquisition and disposition of real estate projects, compliance with regulatory agencies, and environmental laws. He also assists litigators in complex commercial, land use, and general real estate matters.

Jeff's practice extends to counseling clients regarding the formation of businesses, finance, development, and acquisition of projects, as well as with respect to compliance with regulatory and environmental laws. He is also experienced in all aspects of civil litigation, representing public agencies and private entities in litigation in federal and state court of claims involving commercial transactions, real estate and entitlement matters, environmental issues, construction and development of projects, products liability, and general and professional liability claims.

Prior to working in law firms, Jeff worked in the legal departments of investment banking and entertainment companies where he was responsible for corporate, securities, tax, and licensing matters.
